For my first post (better late than never) in this outstanding blog, I'd like to suggest a band I found a few months ago: Phideaux, named after its founder, Phideaux Xavier.I don't know much about them or their music. The first album I listened was their latest one, Doomsday Afternoon (2007).
And I'm glad I found it. It's a fantastic mix of beautifully orchestrated prog/art rock and psychedelic melodies. Exuberant, mellow, stunning.
Definitely worth a listen.
